Michael Nicoll Yahgulanaas is an internationally celebrated artist. His distinctive ‘Haida Manga’ explores his own hybridity as an artist of indigenous, European and Asian descent by combining aspects of Northwest Coast First Peoples art with Asian influences such as Chinese brushwork and Japanese manga comics. His work has been exhibited extensively through public works, galleries and museums in North America, Europe and the United Kingdom.
