Terry Fenton’s new collection of paintings pays homage to the dramatic and changing landscapes of British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. Through his background as a painter, curator, art critic, and writer, Fenton brings his knowledge and deep appreciation for the Modernist movement into his own work by distilling the landscape to its essentials. In this way, Fenton captures a strong sense of place while letting the landscape speak for itself.
March 14 - April 4
Opening Reception: March 14, 1-3 PM

Madeleine Wood's paintings evoke a sense of intimacy. She chooses to include the viewer in private moments that could be snapshots of memories or fantasies. She captures the play of tension and release in her figurative works, while in her landscapes focuses on tiny details such as the curl of arbutus bark.
Madrona Gallery respectfully acknowledges the Lekwungen peoples, on whose traditional lands the gallery stands.
