Megan Dietrich is a multidisciplinary artist based in the qathet region of the Sunshine Coast.

In painting, Dietrich employs instinct, reaction and context to deliver nuanced and expressive compositions. Beyond the realm of colour and form, the artist’s goal is to give the viewer a space to impress their own narratives within a collective through-line.

Drawn to the ‘common yet profound, esoteric nature’ of personhood, the architecture of each piece invites a study in ritual, chance and emotional depth.

“I feel like I’m always investigating emotional tangibility, whether I like it or not. And that’s where my work tends to find itself. I obsessively avoid visual stasis, but I try to find peace in ambiguity.”
