Collaborative Works from Kinngait

January 21 - February 3

Madrona Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of collaborative works from Kinngait, Nunavut.

This shared artistic process creates an incredible crossover between two art forms that share a long history in Inuit art. Communicating ideas on paper and in stone, this new collaborative project is the first of its kind and includes work from prominent Kinngait graphic artists and carvers, including Shuvinai Ashoona, Pitseolak Qimirpik, Qavavau Manumie, Ningeosiaq Ashoona, Ottokie Samayualie, Napachie Ashoona, and others.
