Artist in Attendance

John Lennard is a well-established Canadian Artist based in the Haliburton Highlands, Ontario. His work is known for its distinctive pallet which the artist uses to represent the lakes, forests and skies of Eastern Canada. Following the seasons, his paintings intensify his subject to evoke the remembered sensations of place and time.

Over the last five decades Lennard's work has been included in major exhibitions including the Canadian Biennale at the National Gallery of Canada, The Royal Canadian Academy at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, and Ontario Society of Artists at the Art Gallery of Ontario. Lennard studied at the Ontario College of Art and Art Students League (New York).
