Significant Historic Canadian Art

Madrona Gallery is pleased to announce our first exhibtion of important historical Canadian paintings.

This exhibition will feature work by leading Canadian artists from the 19th and 20th century; including works by Group of Seven artists J.E.H. Macdonald, Franklin Carmicheal, Franz Johnston and Frederick Varley. Also included are paintings by Cornelius Krieghoff, Emily Carr, Henrietta Mabel May as well as eminent post-war artists such as Maxwell Bates and Jack Shadbolt among others.

This retrospective brings together significant pieces from across the country.
