Historic and Post War Canadian Art

March 19 - April 2

Madrona Gallery is pleased to present its annual exhibition of important historic and post-war Canadian art.

This year's exhibition will have a special focus on E.J. Hughes, with 5 rare canvases available. Building on Madrona Gallery's sold-out works on paper show, we have been discreetly sourcing a selection of exceptional paintings for this exhibition. Acclaimed author and Hughes biographer Robert Amos will provide in-depth research on these works.

Other artists featured in the show include leading figures from around the country including Alexander Colville, David Blackwood, Paul Emile Borduas, Marcel Ferron, Lise Gervais, Members of the Group of Seven, William Kurelek, William Perehudoff, Emily Carr, Takao Tanabe, Gordon Smith, Jack Shadbolt and many others.

A full catalogue of works available will be available by request after February 19th.

All works in exhibition subject to pre-sale.
