In this exhibition, Clayton Anderson has returned his attention to the Sunshine Coast, Desolation Sound and the West Coast of Vancouver Island. "These are the areas I know best. They are a part of me," Anderson says. Endlessly captivated by the land, sea and sky, he has spent countless hours exploring pockets of the coast few people access. This collection distills that inspiration and allows Anderson to create nuanced and complex paintings of the region he loves.

Clayton Anderson is a graduate of Alberta College of Art and Design. Over the last 30 years, he has established himself as one of Canada's leading landscape painters. His work is collected around the globe. This will be Anderson's 4th solo exhibition with Madrona Gallery.
