April Ponsford: Perspectives

Feburary 12 - 26

April Ponsford's work expresses a complex range of experiences that reference identity, the environment, ageing, grief and perseverance. This collection of 20 new paintings are unified through the artist's technique of building up thick layers of impasto then wearing them away. Ponsford uses this technique to mimic experiences in her own life where moments build and fade leading to memories that withstand time.
