EXPLORING THE COAST

JANUARY 11 - 25 2014

This collection is inspired by artists working in our province that make us reevaluate many of the scenes we might view on a daily basis yet often overlook. Subject matter of our changing urban and rural landscape such as the Johnson Street bridge in Nancy Ruhl's painting "Slippery When Wet" are important symbols of our community yet will be ignored until change is on the horizon. In a similar manner Megan Dill's landscapes of an ever changing coast hint at the fragility of our ecosystem.
