Tamara Bond was born in Prince George BC and received her BFA from Emily Carr University in 1999. Her work has been shown in commercial and public galleries and Artist run-centres across Canada. She is guest faculty at The Vancouver Island School of Art in Victoria BC where she teaches Design and Drawing.

Bond’s studio practice involves storytelling with many mediums including collage, painting, mixed media and drawing. She attempts to draw everything that her mind considers, and combines them all to create narratives from. Currently, this includes her own psyche, mad identity, nature, animals, her chickens, motherhood, menopause, dreams, and the principles and elements of design.
