Isacie Petaulassie is a mid career artist that has become recognized for his sense of whimsy and technical ability as a carver. He is known for his dancing bears that often will have multiple balance points that allow his carvings to take the form of both a dancing and often diving form. Petaulassie studied Fine Arts, Crafts and Metalwork at the Nunavut Arctic College.
