His distinctive handling of the landscape has left a lasting legacy in Canadian art and continues to capture the interest of collectors across Canada.

Madrona Gallery is pleased to present Meghan Hildebrand’s solo exhibition, Giants.  In this series she was inspired by “the giants all around us, the trees, ocean and mountains.  Then there are the giants of our imaginations, our memories, ideas and fears.”  Through her unique vocabulary of symbols, she translates landscapes into electrifying dreamscape scenarios, each image alluding to a much larger narrative.
