Born in Whitehorse, Yukon in 1958, David Antonides has studied in Vancouver, Europe and New York. His work is focused on watercolour - but in an approach that creates a weight and drama not normally associated with this typically transparent and fragile medium.

Joe Coffey’s talent as an observer of life in all its forms enables him to capture moments of humour, metaphor, and mystery. His animal characters leap out of the bounds of illustration in playfully theatrical contrasts. Bowen Island based artist Susannah Montague creates sculptures that push the boundaries of ceramics as a medium. Juxtaposing the beautiful and macabre, she uses historical references and contemporary life to create vessels for her narratives. Montague draws upon current socio-political events, feminism, and her own personal experiences while demonstrating an exceptional understanding of technique and the history of ceramics.
