Serge Brunoni

Born in France in 1938, Serge Brunoni immigrated to Canada in the early sixties and settled in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec. His work captures the essence of Quebecois, in the streets, on the sea, or out in the wilderness. Nature and the elements provide a lush environment in which his characters exist.

Brunoni focuses on simplicity in his technique and is very inspired by the works of Stanley Cosgrove and Henri Matisse. He pushes the use of line and colour within his work to explore all possibilities.
